> About The Music Society of UNSW (Musoc) primarily aims to make UNSW as musical a place as it can be. We believe music in all its types is a wonderful form of creativity, and we want to bring this to the UNSW community. Musoc exists for both appreciators and players of music. For appreciators, we have a dedicated events department which organises to listen to live bands, orchestras and all manner of concerts (Musoc members often gets discounts to these concerts). The events department also organises its own parties, and invite Musoc's very own ensembles to perform. Musoc has a fantastic array (and always growing!) of ensembles to get involved in. We run a Jazz Combo, Stage Band, Chamber Ensemble, and Jazz Vocal Ensemble. Most of our ensembles are open to ALL musicians and there is no audition. The Stage Band does have auditions. Any member is welcome and encouraged to join our Publicity Committee and Events Committee and get experience in developing and organising campaigns and events.
